summer CAMP IVRT ENROLLMENT OPENS SOON!
FOR YOUTH AGES 7-13
Students will learn the basics of acting, singing and movement in a positive, creative and encouraging atmosphere.
Improvisational games and exercises, in addition to singing and movement, are at the core of this camp. Students will also gain materials and skills to be able to audition at local theatres.
Students will extend their learning with extracurricular instruction including: Shakespeare, directing, makeup, mask-making, stage combat, SET CONSTRUCTION, COSTUME AND PROPS, LIGHTING, and more!

THE FIRST WEEKS ARE SKILLS-BASED WORKSHOPS,
THE FINAL WEEKS ARE A PERFORMANCE CAMP COMBINING EVERYTHING WE’VE LEARNED!
Get onstage with Camp IVRT! Students will have a blast learning skills in acting, singing and movement, during Sessions 1, 2, and 3. Then, working with a local playwright, our campers will be writing their own original plays, with songs from hit Broadway musicals. They will use their skills to audition for and rehearse their plays for a final performance, making new friends and working together in a positive, creative and encouraging atmosphere.
*Please Note: Students must enroll in at least one of the three 1-week sessions as a prerequisite to Performance Camp.
