Curious George character breakdown

Female #1 - Soprano Belt
Painter #5 / Delivery #5 / Nettie (Italian Accent) / Italian Painter #5 / GM Stage Manager - Offstage / Chef O' Malley

Female #2 - Alto Belt
Doorman / Cook / Phinneas' Crowd / Delivery #6 / American Tourist / Frankie Sidecar

George (Male or Female)
Gymnast, Athletic, Exceptional mover.  Dance training - preferred. Not afraid of heights. A note about the Curious George character - Curious George never speaks but “chitters.” Chitters are vocalized sounds that convey intentions and sentiment of words, in close to the same number of syllables as are scripted, with the right acting inflection, without actually saying the words. If you start with the words on the page, remove the consonants, and in a higher youthful voice, click the sound a bit toward “monkey” and away from human” (raising the back of the tongue a bit), you’ll find the right “chitter”. We strongly recommend the performer familiarize themselves with George’s “chittering” and personality, by watching the Curious George animated television series which is available online.

Man with the Yellow Hat (No regional accent)/Cook/Phinneas' Crowd.

Male #3 - High Baritone
