All roles open EXCEPT Franklin, Mary, and Charley. Inland Valley Repertory Theatre aims to reflect its community and welcomes all performers of any gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, or physical ability to audition.
Looking for a cast of 13 experienced performers to play age ranges from 30-55. Pay is based on $18/hr. for rehearsals called and show dates, with a maximum gross contract of $1,500.
Come prepared with 32 bars from a Sondheim or contemporary musical. Bring sheet music - a pianist will be provided (no singing a capella).
Bring a current headshot and resume.
Performances are July 27 & 28 and August 3 & 4 at University of La Verne’s Morgan Auditorium.

Merrily We Roll Along characters
Beth Spencer (Mezzo-Soprano) naive and insecure who is the mother of Frank's son. She arcs from a down-trodden housewife at her wits end to a hopeless romantic at the beginning of her engagement to the man of her dreams. Female, to play 25-35 yrs old .
Gussie Carnegie (Mezzo-Soprano) The flamboyant, self-invented actress. Her character begins at the end of her relationship with Frank, but throughout the show we see her grow more and more helplessly in love with him. Greedy and seductive. To play 25-35 yrs old.
Joe Josephson/Minister (Baritone) Big-talking Broadway producer and husband to Gussie. He later becomes pathetic and poor. To Play 35-50 yrs old.
